Warranty & Root Cause Technician I

Job Posting TitleDynamic Manufacturing, Inc. produces quality remanufactured automatic transmissions, transfer cases, and torque converters for a wide variety of consumer and commercial automotive applications. We are searching for a motivated problem solver with repair experience to join our team as a Warranty & Root Cause Technician. As a Warranty & Root Cause Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and documenting all information regarding products that don't pass our rigorous testing procedures while working with other quality minded teams to improve our internal processes as needed.Core Responsibilities Include:Troubleshoot and repair products that fail testing proceduresInspect and process products returned for warrantyConsistently and accurately log all findings in the required databasesCommunicate findings with supervisor and/or production, engineering, and quality personnel as requiredKeep a clean, safe work area including all tools, test equipment, and computersStay up to date regarding product and process changesStay up to date with and follow all required safety guidelines and proceduresJob QualificationsHighschool Diploma or equivalentTrade or Technical School education preferredRequired SkillsKnowledge and safe usage of basic hand tools including torque wrenches and pneumatic toolsBasic computer knowledge and use (use of mouse and keyboard, operating systems functionality, and email)Ability to read, write, and communicate in EnglishAbility to lift up to 50lbs without assistance as necessaryAbility to work solo and be self-motivatedAbility to read and follow work instructions, support documents, and technical manualsAbility to learn multiple work areas and move between those areas as work requiresPreferred SkillsBilingual (Spanish/English)Microsoft Office experience (Access and Excel specifically)Automotive/Machinery/Electronics repair experienceAbility to read hydraulic and electrical diagramsAbility to use a multimeter or ohmmeterAbility to read and use measuring tools (calipers, dial indicators, micrometers, etc.)Previous automatic transmission repair experienceWill train as necessaryWork Schedule7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (1stShift)Monday – FridayAt Dynamic Manufacturing, we offer:An Engaging Work EnvironmentOpportunities for AdvancementTuition ReimbursementCompetitive Pay (we pay weekly!)Comprehensive Benefits Package & 401(k) MatchGenerous Paid Time Off,and more!WHY CHOOSE DYNAMIC?Dynamic Manufacturing is a family owned and operated organization formed in 1955 by John Partipilo.
