POSITION AVAILABLE Activities Event Staff Cooper High School Casual position, $20 - $100 per event depending on assignment Flexible schedule (high school game nights) Job Summary Activities event staff are responsible for providing safe, high-quality customer service to all participants. Under the direction of the Activities Director, event staff are responsible for working a designated assignment to support athletic events. These assignments are scheduled on an as-needed basis. Possible Assignments Varsity Football Site Manager Set up and take Down Announcer (varsity only) Timekeeper (clock) Scorekeeper (book) Ticket seller/taker Supervisors Chain Gang Wrestling Supervisors Wrestling Announcer V/JV Spotter Timer V/JV Boys and Girls Lacrosse Volleyball Site Manager Scorekeeper/Announcer Ticket seller/taker Timekeeper (clock) Supervisors Boys and Girls Basketball Libero Tracker Varsity Site Manager Scorekeeper (book) Varsity Announcer (varsity only) Timekeeper (clock) Supervisors Hockey, Cross Country, and Track Scorekeeper (book) Site Supervision Shot clock (clock runner) varsity only Cross Country Supervisors Track Workers *AHS/CHS vary on meet size Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Ability to work with people from various cultures Demonstrate excellent customer service and problem-solving skills Able to report to work in a timely manner Providing effective customer service and dealing tactfully and courteously with the public Effective verbal and written communication POSTING OPEN UNTIL FILLED We encourage individuals from less traditional backgrounds to apply, even if they don't meet every qualification described.
