Key Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty diesel trucks Perform preventive maintenance and complex component repairs Conduct Federal Annual Vehicle DOT Inspections (FMCSA compliant) Troubleshoot and repair air brake, electrical, and emission systems Utilize industry-standard diagnostic systems, including: Diagnostic Link 8 Eaton Service Ranger 4 Bendix ACom Meritor WABCO Toolbox Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment Represent the organization with pride at all times Preferred Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience as a diesel technician is required Journey-level mechanic experience is preferred CDL-A license ASE Certifications are preferred but not mandatory Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting abilities Mechanical knowledge of both gas and diesel engines Familiarity with OSHA safety best practices Additional Requirements Authorization to work in the United States Proficiency in English Willingness to relocate to Indianapolis before the start date (if applicable) This is an in-person position; remote work is not available Work Environment Our work involves heavy-duty trucks, providing support for both shop and commercial fleet operations, as well as mobile field service capabilities.
