2027 Future Talent Program - Wilson Packaging Site Summer Internship

Merck's Future Talent Program offers 10-12 week summer internships at the Wilson, North Carolina manufacturing site within vaccines, packaging, IT, quality, maintenance, or supply chain teams. Interns will work on process improvement projects while developing technical and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Participate in process improvement and problem-solving projects within assigned functional area
- Support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives in packaging, filling, quality, or supply chain
- Contribute to right-first-time and cost-effective manufacturing measures
- Collaborate with dedicated professionals to improve packaging and quality processes
Requirements
- Minimum two years of study in BS or MS program in supply chain, engineering, or IT disciplines
- Available for 10-12 weeks during May-August 2027
- Strong collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Preferred: packaging, manufacturing, or quality lab experience
- Preferred: pharmaceutical or vaccine manufacturing background
- Preferred: Lean Six Sigma knowledge or cGMP familiarity
Compensation: $39,908 - $111,111
