Registered Nurse - Pulmonary Progressive Care Unit

Role Overview: This position is for a Registered Nurse in a high-acuity Pulmonary Progressive Care unit, providing specialized respiratory care to patients with conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, influenza, respiratory failure, and COVID-19. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to respiratory patients, including assessments and early interventions. Manage advanced respiratory treatments like tracheostomy care, ventilators, CPAP/BIPAP, chest tubes, and oxygen therapy. Perform focused respiratory assessments and implement interventions for escalating needs. Administer blood products and IV medications. Focus on early intervention, respiratory management, and proactive patient monitoring. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum one year of acute care nursing experience. Current RN licensure in the appropriate state; BLS certification required.
