Position Overview

We are searching for a dedicated and skilled Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team, dedicated to providing outstanding patient care. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly explaining each step with empathy and professionalism
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the highest quality diagnostic imaging
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, addressing any malfunctions immediately
• Meticulously document all procedures and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of new developments in ultrasound technology and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Strong communication abilities and interpersonal skills
