Freedom Detox – Full-Time RN & LPN (Day Shift) | Gastonia, NC Pay: $28 – $39 per hour (based on licensure, experience, and shift differential) Summary Freedom Detox, a Pyramid Healthcare program, is seeking Full-Time Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our dedicated team in Gastonia, NC. This role is essential in providing direct nursing care to adults in substance-use treatment, ensuring safety, comfort, and effective clinical care throughout the recovery process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct initial nursing assessments with new admissions Administer medications safely and accurately Follow withdrawal management protocols where applicable Complete COWS and CIWA scales with appropriate clients per protocol Provide medication education to clients Coordinate with medical providers for assessments and medication management appointments Maintain medical equipment in proper working orderComplete required trainings and mandatory continuing education Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Licensure, Education, & Experience RN: Current unencumbered RN license in NC LPN: Current unencumbered LPN license in NC Current CPR/BLS and First Aid certification Experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong clinical judgment and nursing skills Ability to problem-solve using critical thinking and analysis Capable of handling crisis situations appropriately Working knowledge of federal/state standards, regulatory compliance, and safety protocols Commitment to maintaining professional ethics and boundaries Pyramid CORE Values We are committed and proud to live our CORE values and use them to inspire those around us.
