Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as a Respiratory Therapist providing compassionate and expert respiratory care. This role involves delivering a wide range of respiratory therapies under physician orders, including oxygen and aerosol therapies, advanced airway management, arterial puncture and analysis, ECGs, and mechanical ventilation for adult and geriatric patients.

Plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory therapy treatments, collaborating closely with providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient-centered care. Maintain efficient operations and a positive work environment while supporting the organization's mission and values.

Provide timely and compassionate respiratory care, assessing patient needs and interpreting test results to develop treatment plans.

Administer therapies such as bronchopulmonary drainage, breathing exercises, and mechanical ventilation.

Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly.

Supervise respiratory therapy aides and technicians.

Ensure safe operation and maintenance of respiratory equipment.

Participate in discharge planning and educate patients and caregivers on home respiratory care.

Contribute to policy development, protocol implementation, and staff training.

Engage in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Associate degree from a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program.

Minimum of two years of acute care respiratory therapy experience.

Current unrestricted respiratory care practitioner license in Washington State.

Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential required at hire; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required within one year.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within six months of hire.

Strong knowledge of respiratory care theories and clinical skills.

Ability to assess and tailor treatments for patients across all age groups, including pediatric and geriatric populations.

Familiarity with home respiratory therapy equipment and medication dosing.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with healthcare teams and patients.

Proficiency with technology, including electronic medical records and Microsoft Office.

Independent judgment, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to lift and carry varying weights, stand, walk, bend, and perform other physical activities as required in a clinical setting.

0.9 FTE, 12-hour shifts from 0600 to 1830, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus contingent on a two-year commitment.
