Position Overview: Northwest Permanente, P.C. is currently seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hospice Medicine physician to join our growing medical group in the Hospice and Palliative Medicine department. You will work as part of our 18-clinician Palliative department in Portland, Oregon. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication, collaboration, and palliative care medical skills. Hospice and Palliative Medicine (HPM) Board Eligibility is required. Completion of an HPM fellowship is strongly preferred. Our Hospice program supports patients in the greater Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA areas. We are hiring for our Portland Westside Interdisciplinary Hospice team. This role comprises a mix of virtual work and home visits. It is a collegial, group practice with 5 dedicated Hospice physicians and a Nurse Practitioner. T his is an exciting time to work in the Department of Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Northwest Permanente. Kaiser Northwest has its own hospice program, integrated clinic-based palliative care and home-based palliative care, as well as an inpatient consultation service.
