I am currently sourcing for a Medical Assistant to join our team!
OBGYN experience highly preferred!!
ust be bilingual!
Qualifications:
Must have one year of women's health experience.
Must have strong phlebotomy skills.
Must have experience doing prior authorizations
Must have experience with scheduling
Must be bilingual!
Responsibilities:
*Phone triage to access patient needs when scheduling appointments and tests.
*Order lab tests and/or perform phlebotomy.
*Check vitals.
*Injections/blood draws.
*Clean and stock exam rooms.
*Review patient medical records for accuracy and completeness.
*Refill prescriptions.
*Assist physician in exam room.
*Maintain and promote HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
*Other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements:
*Completion of approved medical assistant training program with proof of current certification.
*Must have a high school diploma or a GED.
*Must have a minimum of 2 years recent on the job experience.
