A highly respected and rapidly growing healthcare organization is seeking a strategic and analytically driven Director of Finance to support its expanding physician enterprise.

The Director of Finance will play a critical role in transforming financial planning and analytics capabilities across the physician group while helping shape strategic and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic finance partner to physician group and executive leadership
• Lead operating and capital budgeting processes across multiple service lines and locations
• Develop and enhance financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools
• Analyze physician productivity, RVUs, patient volumes, revenue trends, and operational performance
• Support business planning initiatives including provider expansion and service line growth
• Partner with Revenue Cycle and operational leaders to improve reporting accuracy and financial performance
• Drive process improvement, reporting automation, and scalable analytics solutions
• Oversee service line and cost accounting analytics to support data-driven decision making
• Support provider compensation analysis, productivity monitoring, and quality incentive programs
• Lead monthly operating reviews and provide actionable variance analysis and insights

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field required
• CPA or CMA preferred
• 7+ years of healthcare finance experience required
• Experience supporting physician groups, ambulatory operations, or medical practices strongly preferred
• Strong background in FP&A, budgeting, analytics, and operational finance
• Experience with provider compensation, RVUs, service line analytics, or healthcare reporting highly desirable
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills required
• Experience with Axiom, Workday Adaptive Planning, or similar financial systems preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
