Patient Care Tech (PCT) - Telemetry

Assists with professional nursing staff in providing basic care to adult patients, including vital signs, hygiene, and monitoring. Measures and records patient intakes, outputs, and temperatures (oral, auxiliary, and rectal) and advises supervisor of abnormalities promptly. Documents care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record. Performs unit secretary duties as needed, including clinical and reception support, and manages supply procurement, receipt, and storage for the unit as directed by the Charge Nurse and/or Director. Enters orders/tests accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
