Medical Inventory Specialist (2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:30PM - 12:00AM)

Baxter seeks an asset specialist for Yale New Haven Hospital's Saint Raphael Campus to manage medical equipment inventory, conduct preventative maintenance tracking, and deliver exceptional customer service in a healthcare facility environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory, delivery, retrieval, and coordination of medical equipment
• Track assets requiring preventative maintenance and communicate problems to management
• Maintain and properly utilize facilities and products under management
• Complete day-to-day assigned activities with effective time management
• Sustain safe work environment through compliance, safety awareness, and 5S activities

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous hospital or healthcare setting experience preferred
• Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet skills preferred
• Ability to lift and carry 60+ pounds using proper ergonomic techniques
• Reliable, organized, and comfortable working with limited supervision
• Capability to stand, walk, kneel 6-8 hours per shift
• Comprehension of infection control and personal protective equipment requirements

Compensation: $17-$18 per hour
