Work Environment

The work setting at Waveplay Motion is onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility. As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured and predictable work schedule. In our collaborative environment, you will have the opportunity to interact with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to develop comprehensive care strategies tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess each patient's physical capabilities and limitations, setting personalized rehabilitation goals.
• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions, maintaining a manageable patient load of one individual per hour to ensure quality treatment.
• Implement and adapt treatment plans that include exercise routines, manual therapy techniques, and other modalities to enhance mobility.
• Continuously assess patient progress, making data-driven adjustments to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients on self-management strategies and lifestyle changes to support their rehabilitation journey.
• Document all patient care activities thoroughly, maintaining compliance with facility policies and using EMR software like WebPT.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare providers to discuss treatment plans and improve patient care pathways.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment to foster a positive outlook and promote adherence to rehabilitation protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Waveplay Motion, our clientele mainly comprises individuals with private medical insurance, including athletes, active adults, and seniors striving to improve their mobility post-injury or surgery. Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in California, with no disciplinary actions or board actions recorded.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills, demonstrating ability to address a variety of conditions within orthopedic care.
• Strong proficiency in developing and implementing effective exercise protocols tailored to patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is essential for maintaining accurate documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient clinic is highly preferred, showcasing a commitment to best practices in rehabilitation.
• Experience in individualized care development, with a focus on empowering patients through customized fitness and wellness programs.
• Hands-on understanding of diverse treatment modalities, reflecting a holistic approach to patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

Waveplay Motion offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 125,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
