Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in inpatient or outpatient settings and develop tailored treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy techniques emphasizing mobility, strength, balance, and functional improvements
• Work in collaboration with nurses, doctors, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation specialists to enhance patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and home exercise regimens
• Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progression in alignment with regulatory standards and facility policies
• Engage in interdisciplinary rounds and care conferences to promote holistic patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure for Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) advantageous, but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior professional experience is highly desired
• Adequate skills to manage patients with complex medical and mobility challenges
