Parton's Live Food Runner

Herschend is seeking an enthusiastic and hospitable Food Runner to add to our restaurant operations team for our newest hospitality venture, Dolly Parton's SongTeller Hotel, located in the heart of Downtown Nashville. The ideal candidate is driven to provide excellent dining experiences for our guests through proper steps of service and maintain a great work environment for our fellow hosts and vendors at Parton's Live, a 114 seat listening room on the 2nd floor of the hotel.

The Parton's Live Food Runner position provides a unique opportunity for the right individual to be involved in opening restaurant operations efforts for Dolly Parton's SongTeller Hotel featuring 245 rooms, two F&B Entertainment venues, a market, and Dolly Parton's Museum. This position is driven to create meaningful experiences for our hosts, guests, and community while simultaneously ensuring the success and profitability of our unique offerings. The recipe for the right Food Runner will be equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, mentor and motivator. To achieve success in this role, one must drive results while adhering to our Heartspitality® culture. This position requires genuine passion for storytelling through music- fitting for a space inspired by one of Nashville's most legendary artists.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Checks with Manager for daily objectives
• Assist service and kitchen team by bringing complete food orders from the kitchen to the dining room. Serve food to the guests following the trained guidelines.
• Open and Close Food Runner station efficiently
• Clears and resets tables as needed
• Inspects dining room for cleanliness
• Provide excellent dining experiences for our guests through proper steps of service
• Maintains a clean and sanitary environment in compliance with all local and federal health codes
• Must be willing to work in other disciplines within the department as directed by management
• Participates in daily line ups
• Practices service standards and current training throughout service

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to obtain Food Handler certification

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Basic computer knowledge and usage preferred

• Must pass a pre-employment background check
