Locums | Cardiothoracic/Vascular Surgery | Call Only | Springfield, OH Why This Role
- Urgent ongoing call coverage need due to provider medical emergency
- Full-service acute care hospital with established CV surgery program
- Opportunity for immediate coverage with continued sporadic needs afterward Assignment Details
- Start Date: 5/28/2026
- Ongoing coverage for at least 2 months
- 24-hour call coverage
- Hospital-based practice
- EMR: Epic Clinical Details
- Adult patient population
- 250-bed hospital with 60 ICU beds
- Support includes 2 mid-level providers
- Onsite lab and x-ray services
- Required procedures include: - CABG - Congenital defect repair - Valve repair/replacement - Aneurysm repair - Lung resections including VATS - Chest wall/pleural procedures - Esophagus/diaphragm surgeries - Carotid and renal endarterectomy - Bronchoscopy - Ventilation management - Acute volume/BP management Requirements
- Board Certified in Cardiovascular, Thoracic, and Vascular Surgery REQUIRED
- Active OH license REQUIRED
- BLS/ACLS REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice/background strongly preferred
- Must be available for listed coverage dates Compensation
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
