Compensation: $15.00 to $16.00 per hour

Job Summary: As an Abbey Resort associate, you will have the opportunity to be part of an incredible team at an all service resort situated on the beautiful shores of Geneva Lake. Basic Function: The Spa Receptionist is responsible for checking guests in and out of the Spa, booking appointments, and taking payments all while maintaining a professional and calm atmosphere. They must be able to keep the desk area organized and always look well groomed.

Qualifications: Education, Knowledge, Training, & Work Experience

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in customer service preferred
• Must have strong interpersonal skills.
• Be able to stand for up to 8 hours
• Computer skills: word and Microsoft outlook knowledge, Spa or reservation software basic knowledge encouraged.
• Proper phone etiquette.
• Typing minimum of 25 wpm.
• Basic mathematical skills for money handling.

Essential Functions:

• Check guests in and out of the spa, acting as spa concierge as needed.
• Having working knowledge of all retail products and assist in commission management.
• Manage office supplies and the daily functions of phone calls, scheduling appointments, and payments.
• Open/close the spa when assigned.

Marginal Functions:

• Effectively interact with people of diverse socio-economic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.
• Required to perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
• Scheduled hours may vary on business needs and may or may not include holidays, weekends, various shifts, overtime or reduced hours.
• Work cooperatively with other departments.
• Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of facility daily.
• Maintain a professional appearance in all areas of the hotel.

Environment: Indoors, hard surfaces, temperature controlled, well-lit with artificial lighting and quiet setting.
