Mid-Level Java EngineerGenesis10 is currently seeking a Mid-Level Java Engineer for a hybrid position with a global financial institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.We are seeking a Mid-Level Java Engineer to join our client's ACH Payments Technology team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high performance API services, backend components, and integrations that power their ACH (Automated Clearing House) payment origination platform. This role requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.Requirements:5+ years of hands-on Java development experienceStrong expertise in Spring / Spring Boot, REST API development, and microservicesMastery of multithreading, concurrency, and performance tuningExperience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server)Experience building highly available, distributed backend systemsFamiliarity with messaging systems (Kafka, MQ, or similar) and NDM file transferKnowledge of API security patterns (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS)Primary skills: Core Java, Spring Boot, JbossDesired skills:Payment domain knowledge (ACH, NACHA), payment file formats (PPD, CCD, CTX)Familiarity with event-driven architecturesExcellent communication and documentation abilitiesAbility to work in an agile, fast paced environmentBackground in financial services, banking, or regulatory environmentsPay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
