This position requires hands-on expertise in both manual and CNC machining, specifically involving large-scale turning work for parts 30\" in diameter and larger. The ideal candidate brings extensive, proven experience operating Toshiba TUE vertical lathe machines with Fanuc controls alongside manual Bullard vertical turret lathes. Responsibilities

• Interpret Specifications: Read blueprints, drawings, and engineering data to plan fabrication sequences and work procedures.
• Setup & Operate Equipment: Select, align, and secure tooling, fixtures, and materials on metalworking machines, adjusting manual controls or editing CNC programs.
• Fabricate & Machine Parts: Cut, shape, assemble, and modify metal parts, tooling, and assemblies to exact specifications.
• Inspect & Verify Quality: Perform layouts and verify part dimensions using precision measuring instruments, trigonometry, and advanced inspection tech to fix defects.
• Maintain & Troubleshoot: Monitor machinery to diagnose malfunctions and determine necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Collaborate: Partner with engineering, supervisory, and manufacturing teams to exchange technical information.
