Provider Contracting Professional

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Provider Contracting Professional based in United States. This role supports provider contracting activities across the West Region within a healthcare environment focused on senior populations. You will contribute to the negotiation, analysis, execution, and ongoing maintenance of physician and provider agreements. The position combines contract administration, financial analysis, provider network development, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with contracting leaders, market teams, legal partners, and provider organizations to keep agreements moving efficiently. The role offers an opportunity to build expertise in managed care, value-based contracting, and provider network strategy. Success requires strong attention to detail, sound analytical judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. This is a full-time remote position with opportunities to contribute to meaningful healthcare contracting initiatives. Accountabilities - Support the drafting, review, processing, and maintenance of provider contracts, amendments, and related documentation. - Collaborate with market engagement, leadership, and legal teams to facilitate contract execution and address routine contract-term revisions. - Assist with communicating contract terms, reimbursement structures, and payment arrangements to IPA and ACO provider groups under the direction of senior contracting professionals. - Conduct initial financial analyses of proposed contract terms and prepare clear summaries and recommendations for senior review. - Maintain accurate contract files and records within contract management and tracking systems, ensuring documentation follows established processes and compliance requirements. - Support provider network development by identifying potential providers based on market needs, network composition, and contracting priorities. - Prepare reports, status updates, and other materials supporting contracting initiatives and business priorities. - Manage assigned workloads, priorities, and deadlines while escalating complex contractual or business issues appropriately.

Requirements - 2+ years of experience in provider contracting, network management, healthcare operations, or a related healthcare field. - Working knowledge of managed care and/or value-based contracting principles. - Understanding of provider contract terms and their basic financial implications. - Ability to analyze information, prepare clear summaries, and support contract-related decisions with accurate data. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when managing contracts, documentation, and multiple deadlines. - Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across contracting, legal, leadership, and provider-facing teams. - Preferred experience supporting ACO or IPA provider networks. - Preferred experience in provider relations or familiarity with provider contract management and tracking systems. - Experience with value-based contracting is an advantage. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment while knowing when to escalate complex issues.
