Multifamily Superintendent - Construction

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead the field operations for a $40M+ ground-up Senior Living project in Denville, NJ. This individual will serve as the lead on site, driving schedule, safety, and quality while initially operating independently and eventually managing additional Superintendents. Client Details Our client is a well-established general contractor with over 40 years of success, headquartered in Wayne, NJ. They have built a strong reputation for integrity, reliability, and professional excellence, with a diverse portfolio spanning commercial, industrial, hospitality, office, multi-family residential, senior living, educational, institutional, and rehabilitation projects. Description Site Supervision: Serve as the Lead Superintendent on a $40M+ Senior Living facility project Schedule Management: Develop, manage, and maintain the project schedule, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met Team Leadership: Oversee and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and on-site personnel to ensure efficient workflow Safety Compliance: Enforce and uphold jobsite safety standards, company policies, and OSHA compliance Quality Control: Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications and plans Documentation: Maintain detailed daily logs, reports, and documentation Profile 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent in ground-up construction Strong background in structural steel and wood-frame residential/multi-family construction Proven ability to run projects independently, especially in early-phase construction Experience on large-scale projects ($30M+ preferred), ideally in senior living, multi-family, or similar sectors Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and multiple stakeholders Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, sequencing, and safety standards Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities Ability to transition into a General Superintendent role overseeing multiple Supers Job Offer Competitive base salary: up to 180K (based on experience) Paid Time Off Profit Sharing Plan Travel reimbursement for job-related travel exceeding 60 miles Comprehensive Health & Benefits package, with options to upgrade for family coverage Opportunity to take a leadership role on a high-profile senior living development with a well-respected, long-standing contractor MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
