AP Manager

Overview A leading, nationally recognized food & beverage company is seeking an experienced AP & AR Manager to own and elevate the full-cycle payables and receivables functions at their Torrance headquarters. This is a high-impact, fully onsite leadership role within a complex, high-volume CPG environment. You’ll oversee daily transactional operations, strengthen internal controls, and partner cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure accurate, timely cash flow and vendor management. Location : 5 days a week onsite in Torrance, CA Salary : up to 110k in base DOE + 10% Bonus + benefits What You’ll Own Lead end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations Manage and mentor a team in a high-volume, fast-paced CPG environment Oversee cash application, deductions, chargebacks, collections, and vendor payments Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements Partner with Sales on trade spend, deductions, and customer account reconciliations Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and ERP optimization Support month-end close, reporting, and working capital management What We’re Looking For 5–8+ years of progressive AP/AR experience, including team leadership Background in CPG, food & beverage, manufacturing, or high-volume distribution strongly preferred Experience managing customer deductions, retailer chargebacks, and trade spend Strong ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.) Detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable in a hands-on leadership role Must be willing to work fully onsite in Torrance, CA US Citizens and Permanent Residents are welcome to apply.
