Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Gardena, CA (Corporate Office Fully On-Site) Pay: $27$29/hour Type: Temp-to-Hire Schedule: MondayFriday, 8 AM5 PM

About the Role

Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a fast-paced, growing organization. This role involves handling high-volume AP transactions and supporting automation initiatives. Top 3 Must-Haves

Ability to process 300500 invoices per week
Experience with three-way matching and account reconciliations
Basic Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)

Tools & Systems

ERP: Legend (retail-focused)
Basic Excel

Responsibilities

Full-cycle AP processing, including three-way match and vendor communication
Monitor exceptions queue for automated invoices and manually process non-automated invoices
Perform statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Collaborate with retail stores and vendors
Support transition to PO/non-PO specialization in the future

Qualifications

Degree not required
Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Interview Process

First Round: Zoom or Teams with AP Lead and Supervisor
Second Round: On-site with Hiring Manager
Availability: WednesdayFriday preferred
