Accountant

JCW is partnering with a commercial finance company looking to bring an Accountant to their growing team. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional early in their career who wants exposure to the operational side of a CRE lending platform, loan originations, servicing, and financing transactions, while building a strong technical foundation in GL accounting and reporting. This is a hybrid opportunity with 3 days in the firm's Dallas office. What You'll Do Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules in accordance with U.S. GAAP Maintain GL accounts and resolve reconciling items related to loan originations, servicing, financing transactions, and accrued interest Support AP, expense reporting, and vendor payment processes Assist with SEC filings, financial statements, regulatory reporting, and audit schedules Help maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Research accounting/financial data and identify process improvement opportunities What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or CPA-track preferred Public accounting or financial-services accounting experience a plus Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control concepts Strong Excel and MS Office skills Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr JCW Group
