The accountant position is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, including the production of financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive system of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. - Performs Accounts Receivable functions including invoicing, manual check application, aging reports, and account reconciliation
- Enters routine journal entries and bank transactions
- Enters AP bills and credit card transactions if needed
- Performs month-end closing and reconciliation
- Reconciles, investigates, corrects, and adjusts accounting information
- Performs bank reconciliation
- Supports department peers as needed

Required:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 1-2 years of accrual basis accounting working experiences including accounts receivable, journal entries, month-end closing and reconciliation, and bank reconciliation.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to interact within all levels of the organization
- Demonstrates ability to successfully plan, organize and manage projects
- Detail-oriented, excellent proofreading and editing skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, organized, able to prioritize and work independently
- Exceptionally self-motivated and directed
