D365 F&O Solution Architect / L3 Support Engineer

Salary: $160,000 - 160,000 per year Requirements:

• We need expert-level experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform architecture across large-scale, multi-company environments.
• We need strong knowledge of the D365 F&O architecture and metadata model, including batch processing, data entities, and security design.
• We need advanced troubleshooting skills for performance and stability issues using tools such as Trace Parser, PerfTimer, XProfiler, LCS diagnostics, Azure monitoring, and Application Insights.
• We need deep understanding of batch and database performance tuning, including SQL Server and Azure SQL query optimization, indexing, and workload improvement.
• We need advanced, but not heavy, customization knowledge in X++, extensions, Chain of Command, and event handlers, with the ability to review and critique code rather than build extensive new development.
• We need working knowledge of Azure and integration services such as Logic Apps, Service Bus, Azure Functions, and Data Factory as they relate to D365 integrations.
• We need familiarity with DevOps and application lifecycle management concepts, including Azure DevOps, LCS, and deployable packages.
• We prefer candidates with Microsoft certifications such as MB-500, MB-700, or MB-920.
• We prefer experience supporting Microsoft or vendor-led platform health assessments and quarterly reviews.
• We prefer prior exposure to pre-sales technical discussions and solution positioning.
• We prefer applicants who can contribute at the senior level in a client-facing advisory role.

• We lead quarterly health assessments and architectural reviews for D365 F&O environments in partnership with customers and Microsoft.
• We evaluate customizations, extensions, and configuration choices to uncover performance bottlenecks, stability risks, and architectural inefficiencies.
• We provide strategic recommendations, remediation guidance, and best-practice advice to improve platform performance, reliability, and scalability.
• We analyze how design and configuration decisions affect overall system health and operational resilience.
• We deliver clear findings, architecture diagrams, and consultative guidance without directly implementing system changes.
• We serve as a trusted client advisor during quarterly evaluations, technical discussions, and architecture review sessions.
• We participate in pre-sales conversations with prospective enterprise D365 customers to demonstrate technical depth and service capability.
• We translate complex technical issues into practical, business-friendly recommendations for stakeholders.
• We act as the primary technical escalation point for distributed L2/L3 support teams in an offshore delivery model.
• We resolve major production incidents, including P1 and P2 issues, through advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• We provide overflow support on customer tickets while maintaining service continuity and SLA commitments.
• We manage Microsoft escalations for critical platform defects and ensure follow-through until resolution.
• We help reduce production risk by recommending preventive actions and permanent corrective fixes.
