As a Composite Materials Industrial Base Analyst, you’ll bring your analytical, strategic, technical, and defense industrial base (DIB) expertise to work on projects for the DoW. You’ll research, develop, analyze, assess, plan, support, and manage investments in the DIB to expand the capacity and capability to manufacture and support the increased production required to support our warfighters. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes, and develop recommendations to resolve DIB capacity and capability shortfalls.

You’ll guide the work we do for the DoW’s kinetic capabilities mission area and the solutions we deliver for military missions, defense planning, national security, strategic planning, defense mission planning, and national defense strategy.

You Have:

• 15+ years of experience with the DoW composite materials, ablative materials, or propulsion industrial base, acquisition enterprise, management of composite or ablative materials, or propulsion systems development supporting missiles, munitions, or hypersonics
• 15+ years of experience supporting acquisition programs or operations for weapon capabilities, including air-to-air, air-to-ground, ground-to-ground, or ground-to-air weapons, or subsonic, supersonic, or hypersonic missiles
• Experience developing and evaluating acquisition strategies, acquisition program baselines, risk reduction plans, or industry capital equipment investment plans
• Experience designing, executing, and directing composite materials manufacturing at the lab and industry-scale, and analysis of new ingredients for ablative materials use for missiles, munitions, or hypersonics
• Experience reviewing the annual defense authorization and appropriations acts for provisions that affect kinetic capability weapons programs
• Knowledge of all phases of the planning, programming, and budgeting system
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience analyzing composite materials for kinetic capability portfolios to assess cost, schedule, and performance risks associated with the weapon industrial base required to execute planned and forecast acquisition and surge manufacturing requirements
• Experience developing monthly and quarterly status reports on DIB investment programs
• Experience preparing and coordinating correspondence requests directed to senior department leadership, legislative branch offices, foreign governments or agencies, international organizations, or private organizations
• Experience supporting the preparation of Acquisition Decision Memoranda, Overarching Integrated Product Team (OIPT) reports, or program update briefings
• Experience supporting General Accounting Office and DoW Inspector General studies and audits
• TS/SCI clearance
• Defense Acquisition University Certification in Logistics Management, Systems Acquisition, or Defense Industry

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
