ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING – ADON/RN - Generations at Applewood, Matteson, IL

Generations at Applewood, Matteson, IL, has an Opening for an Assistant Director of Nursing – ADON. This is a Full Time Role with a Salary Starting at $110-115k, depending upon qualifications and experience. Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a few years of Skilled Nursing Facility or LTACH management/supervisory experience, not hospital.

Hours are 9a-5p weekdays and must be willing to be in On-Call every other weekend.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Director of Nursing - ADON (Clinical Services Supervisor):

The Assistant Director of Nursing - ADON collaborates with the Director of Nursing – DON (Director of Clinical Services)
Ensures care plans are implemented and delivered in a timely and efficient manner
Manages the clinical team, develops programs and provides education to staff
Plans and evaluates nursing systems, rotations and methods

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Illinois
Must have at least three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Must have long-term care experience & knowledge of SNF regulations
Point Click Care (PCC) proficiency
Must have leadership and critical thinking skills
Must Work collaboratively with staff and peers
ICU or ventilator experience a plus
Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for older adults
