Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Professional to manage our day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate possesses hands-on experience utilizing Sage accounting software to process transactions, oversee the general ledger, and support month-end close procedures. You will ensure data accuracy, maintain regulatory compliance, and provide financial reporting to drive business decisions.


Key Responsibilities

• Accounting Operations: Process daily financial transactions including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and payroll.
• General Ledger: Reconcile bank and credit card statements, balance sheet accounts, and resolve any financial discrepancies.
• Software Management: Leverage Sage to maintain accurate data entry, automate routine billing, and generate custom financial reports.
• Month/Year-End Close: Assist in preparing and posting journal entries, trial balances, and adjusting entries in preparation for the monthly close process.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections for management review.
• Compliance & Audit: Organize and maintain financial records, ensuring all documentation aligns with GAAP and supports both internal and external audits.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Software Skills: Proven proficiency in Sage (Sage 50, Sage 100, or Sage Intacct) . Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
• Experience: 2-5 years of progressive bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Core Competencies: Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles, high attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills
