We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Billing & Collections Specialist to join our Finance team in Teaneck, NJ . In this role, you'll play a key part in managing the end-to-end billing and collections process across the US and Canada. You'll ensure accurate invoicing, maintain healthy accounts receivable, and provide a seamless customer experience by partnering closely with Finance, Sales Operations, and Customer Success. This is a hands-on role that combines analytical precision with strong communication and organizational skills. A day in the life and how you'll make an impact: Generate, review, and send customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner Reconcile billing data across finance systems to ensure accuracy and completeness Review and process monthly revenue recognition journals in accordance with ASC 606. Manage customer accounts, monitor AR aging, and proactively follow up on overdue balances Partner with Sales Operations and Customer Success teams to resolve billing discrepancies and customer disputes Maintain and report on AR aging, cash collections, and DSO metrics across all entities. Assist with monthly close activities related to billing, collections, and revenue recognition support Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline billing workflows and improve system efficiency Provide exceptional customer service in all billing communications and collection efforts Support process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives within the Order to Cash function Process customer payments, Post daily cash receipts Verify contracts, change orders, and supporting documentation before invoicing Requirements Associates' or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of experience in ASC 606 revenue recognition, billing, accounts receivable, or collections; international experience a plus Experience in a recurring revenue or subscription-based environment - Must Strong understanding of invoicing, AR reconciliations, and collections best practices Hands-on experience with ERP or finance systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar) Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills High attention to detail, organization, and accuracy under tight deadlines Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales and Customer Success teams Proactive, process-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement Experience supporting both US and Canadian customers preferred Extensive knowledge of Excel, and Google Sheets is a must. Compensation: UVeye provides salary ranges that comply with the New Jersey State Law on salary transparency in job advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, skills, location, education, and operational needs. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentives or other forms of compensation or benefits. The hourly rate for this position is $27 – $31.
