Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur09:30 AM - 05:00 PMFri09:30 AM - 05:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and faculty by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, galleries, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity, supporting access control procedures and providing directions or assistance to guests in a professional manner. Support special events, exhibitions, and daily operations by helping manage foot traffic, observing assigned areas, and communicating clearly with team members and location representatives. Minimum Requirements: Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
