Job Description Human Resource Generalist (Part‑time) Position Title: Human Resource Generalist (Part‑time) Location: Central Office Reports To: Human Resources Manager Position Start Date: As soon as possible Required Certification: CHRC with Department of Education Application Deadline: Open until suitable candidate found About the Role The Kittery School District is currently seeking a part‑time human resource generalist. This year‑round position is Monday‑Friday. The human resource generalist performs HR‑related duties on a professional level and works closely with the Human Resources Manager, Payroll Specialist, and the Business Manager. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action, and employment law compliance. Requirements Candidates must submit to a Criminal History Record Check through the Maine Department of Education.
