POSITION SUMMARY: Provides EKG monitoring services under the supervision of a registered nurse. Supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence Standards to all customer groups.

PROVISION OF SERVICE

• Provides EKG monitoring and documentation.
• Assists to provide an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors, and employees.
• The Telemetry monitor tech will report risks to patient safety to the R.N. and implement the appropriate precautions.
• The Telemetry monitor tech will comply with appropriate and approved standards

Qualifications

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma.
• Successful completion of EKG class and/or successful completion of an EKG examination.
