Travel Registered Nurse - Hospice

Job Description Overview: /n Expand Access. Travel with Purpose. Deliver Compassionate Hospice Care. /n Would you enjoy making a difference across multiple communities while stepping in where care is needed most? /n /n We’re looking for a Hospice RN – Regional Support to join our team. In this dynamic role, you’ll provide direct care to patients and support to families, while also serving as a floating clinician—temporarily assigned to different hospice branches based on census needs or staffing gaps. If you’re energized by new settings, adaptable to change, and passionate about purpose-driven care, this role could be a perfect fit. /n /n This role will support all of our Western TN locations as needed. These locations include Dickson, Selmer, Clarksville, Columbia, Dyersburg, Jackson, Lawrenceburg, Memphis and Paris. /n /n Some overnight travel will be required. Fleet vehicle or mileage reimbursement, travel expense reimbursement, comprehensive benefit package and competitive salary provided. /n /n As a Hospice RN – Regional Support, You Will: /n /n • Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care for hospice patients /n • Manage and implement individualized plans of care /n • Support and lead interdisciplinary team members (LPNs, CNAs, HHAs, etc.) /n • Assess and address patients’ physical, emotional, spiritual, and environmental needs /n • Accurately document all care provided and ensure compliance with hospice protocols /n • Educate families and caregivers on care instructions, medications, and safety /n • Participate in the on-call rotation and provide after-hours care as needed /n • Collaborate with physicians, referral sources, and the care team /n • Assist with referrals, regulatory documentation, and payer compliance /n • Travel to various Gentiva hospice locations as assigned to fill urgent needs /n /n /n Schedule & Travel: /n /n This role typically follows a Monday–Friday schedule, with occasional on-call responsibilities. Travel is required and may include: /n /n - Option 1: Overnight travel required to cities within a 100-mile radius. /n - Option 2: Frequent overnight travel to multiple states is required. /n - Option 3: Regional travel with overnight stays based on assignment needs. /n /n A company fleet car is provided for eligible employees.
