Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and formulating effective, individualized treatment plans.

• Providing one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

• Establishing therapeutic goals and actively monitoring client progress to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Offering teletherapy sessions to cater to clients who may have accessibility challenges or prefer virtual engagement.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation, adhering to ethical and professional standards.

• Engaging in continuous professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population facing various challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; however, a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is strongly preferred.

Preferred Experience\n
