Receptionist Administrator

Smith-Midland is seeking a proactive and highly organized Receptionist Administrator to serve as the face of our organization and a vital member of the office administration team. This individual will manage front desk responsibilities with professionalism and warmth, ensuring smooth daily operations, while also supporting key accounting and administrative functions. The ideal candidate must be organized, professional, and have excellent customer service skills to effectively deal with a wide range of people.ResponsibilitiesProvide full-time receptionist front desk coverage for Smith-Midland’s headquarters including greeting visitors, answering phone, routing emails and distributing mail.Maintain the reception area and conference room in a clean and orderly mannerProfessionally greet visitors (key customers, suppliers, staff members), direct them to the appropriate person or department and assist with visitor requestsDirect incoming calls to the appropriate person or departmentReview and forward voicemails and faxes to the appropriate personSchedule appointments and maintain calendar for the main conference roomReceive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packagesSchedule outgoing mail servicesPerform administrative tasks such as copying, faxing, and mailingMaintain and order office suppliesAssist with accounting and admin tasks at the direction of the Accounting Manager.Scan daily depositsEnter trucking vouchersData entry and review of production and shipping dataMaintain and order office suppliesHigh school diploma or equivalent1+ years of experience as a receptionist or administrative roleExcellent customer service skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteBasic knowledge of accounting principles and proceduresThis is a full-time position located in our Midland, Virginia office.
