Every Saturday & Sunday | Open Shifts: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM & 11:00 PM–7:00 AM | 16 Hours Per Week

Langdon Place of Portsmouth is seeking compassionate and dependable Medication Nursing Assistants (MNAs) to join our nursing team for consistent weekend shifts .

We currently have openings on both our day shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM) and overnight shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM) . This is a great opportunity for an MNA looking for a predictable weekend schedule with the opportunity to pick up additional hours nearby.

By combining hours between Langdon Place of Portsmouth and Cedar Healthcare Center, eligible employees can achieve full-time status and become eligible for full-time benefits and Modified Compensation.

This is a great option for candidates who want the consistency of a Saturday and Sunday schedule at Langdon Place while having the opportunity to work additional shifts.

Position Details

Position: Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA)
Schedule: Every Saturday & Sunday
Open Shifts:

• 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

• 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

Hours: 16 hours per week
Location: Portsmouth, NH

What You’ll Do

• Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and facility policies

• Accurately document medication administration and resident information

• Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the licensed nurse

• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed

• Provide compassionate, respectful, and person-centered care

• Maintain resident safety, dignity, privacy, and independence

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other members of the care team

• Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements

• Work collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional resident care

Qualifications

• Current New Hampshire MNA license/certification in good standing

• Previous senior living, assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare experience preferred

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Compassionate, reliable, and resident-focused

• Ability to work every Saturday and Sunday

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
