Vice President for Academic Affairs

The client invites applications and nominations for the Vice President for Academic Affairs role. Reporting directly to the College President and serving on the President’s Cabinet, the Vice President for Academic Affairs provides academic leadership informed by awareness of emerging trends and best practices in community college education. The role is expected to support strong collaboration with faculty, foster innovation, and advance student success. As the client’s Chief Academic Officer, the Vice President for Academic Affairs provides visionary leadership to advance innovative, high-quality educational programs. The position supports a culture of creativity and continuous improvement by ensuring academic offerings remain forward-thinking and responsive to evolving student and workforce needs. The VPAA oversees all credit-bearing programs and services, including academic departments, distance learning, and libraries, with an emphasis on integrating practices that improve access, engagement, and student outcomes.
