Food Service Coordinator

Role: Food & Nutritional Services Coordinator responsible for managing food services, ensuring dietary compliance, and maintaining safety standards. Key Responsibilities Serve as the main liaison between nursing, food services, and other departments to deliver patient care. Provide nutritional care for diverse patient populations, including neonates to geriatrics. Manage meal tallies, create staff schedules based on patient census, and respond to diet order changes. Unload and organize vendor stock, ensure diet restriction compliance, and supervise staff. Follow policies, perform safety audits, HACCP checks, and fill in for other roles when needed. Handle cash, maintain safety standards, and support team training and orientation. Qualifications & Skills High School diploma required. At least two years in supervisory roles and healthcare dietary services. ServSafe certification required within 3 months; Dietary Manager certification preferred. Knowledge of modified diets, nutrition principles, HACCP, and food safety. Strong communication and customer service skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
