About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer for Insurance Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, planning, and overseeing the operational strategy, performance, and execution of the insurance operations functions. This includes driving changes to processes and system capabilities, ensuring a member-centric culture, and leading customer service, claims, and membership operations. The COO will also be accountable for compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements, driving self-service capabilities, and fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and communication. Candidates for the COO, Insurance Operations role at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years' of healthcare experience, with at least 10 years' of progressive leadership experience. The role requires a leader who can provide vision, organization, and leadership in strategic planning, resource prioritization, and budget forecasting. The COO will be expected to have a strong background in driving operational initiatives, as well as experience in consulting with leadership on program and financial issues. The position also involves oversight of the human resources function within the insurance operations. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with a track record of creating an environment of accountability, responsibility, and ownership, and will be adept at fostering personal growth and development within their team.
