Employee Relations Manager

Our client located in Northern Maine has an immediate opening for a Employee Relations Manager. Pay Rate: $100k Benefits include: Vacation Time Earned Paid Leave Paid Holidays plus Floating Holidays 401K plus 401K Fixed Contribution Medical Insurance Disability Insurance Life Insurance Responsibilities Handle routine labor relations and human resource inquiries related to policies, procedures, and bargaining agreements Serve as the initial contact for intake and assessment of Union complaints Analyze and interpret the intent, spirit and terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreements (“CBA”) Participate in the Company’s long-term planning and implementation of the CBA as it relates to labor relations Compile information and develop statistical reports on all matters pertaining to the CBA. Develop recommendations consistent with the CBA and current labor practices under regulations and statutes. Develop and write policy based on approved recommendations Participate in labor contract negotiations and identify bargaining issues Assist with hiring and termination of bargaining unit employees and recordkeeping for affirmative action compliance Maintain knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations related to EEO, affirmative action, collective bargaining, unions, labor relations, and human resources Assist with preparation of documents and records for meetings with labor organizations as well as attend meetings Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Business Degree and/or equivalent experience Experience in conflict resolution Computer skills to include Excel, Word and PowerPoint Applying Please submit resumes to View email address on click.appcast.io including salary expectations and availability or contact Chris Halliwell at View phone number on click.appcast.io Job Number: 2258 #J-18808-Ljbffr Halliwell Consulting Corp
