Safety Manager

Aegis is partnered with a rapidly growing industrial manufacturer that designs and builds custom machinery, equipment, and data center solutions. With over 100 years of history and significant expansion underway, they are looking to add a Safety Manager to take ownership of plant safety and help build a stronger safety culture.

This is a highly hands-on position for someone who wants to be on the manufacturing floor driving safety improvements rather than sitting behind a desk.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and implement plant safety policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable safety standards
• Regularly walk the plant to identify hazards and implement corrective actions
• Conduct safety audits, equipment inspections, and risk assessments
• Investigate accidents, injuries, and near-misses
• Develop and deliver hands-on safety training for plant employees
• Maintain safety documentation, incident reports, and training records
• Lead monthly Safety Committee meetings

Requirements:

• 3+ years of safety experience within manufacturing or an industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance
• Experience developing and implementing safety policies and procedures
• Hands-on experience conducting plant audits and hazard assessments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to train and engage plant employees
• Safety-related degree or certifications are preferred
