Location 9701 Capital Blvd, Wake Forest, North Carolina 27587 United States of America Parts Foreman U-Haul parts foremen oversee the shop’s catalogue of machine parts, maintaining inventory to support repairs, communicating with supply chain partners, managing purchase orders, and auditing inventory levels to reduce obsolete stock. The role requires teamwork and flexibility to assist in additional areas as directed by the supervisor. Parts Foreman Primary Responsibilities Maintain adequate inventory to allow the shop to perform necessary repairs to our fleet. Effectively communicate with internal supply chain, vendors and freight carriers. Maintain purchase orders, pay bills and reconcile issues. Audit inventory levels, reduce obsolete inventory and return unused parts. Willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of the supervisor. Parts Foreman Minimum Qualifications Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record. Excellent organizational skills. Computer-savvy. Forklift certified. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields. Physical Demands The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
