Make a real difference in students’ lives by providing skilled physical therapy services in a supportive educational environment on a contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for licensed professionals seeking a flexible, part-time schedule in a school-based setting, focusing personalized care and impactful support.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Experience working with school-aged children or within educational settings preferred
- Strong evaluation and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
- Compassion, patience, and adaptability when working with students with varied needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for one student, ensuring all necessary assessments and documentation are completed accurately
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to two students for a total of 60 minutes per week, focused on personalized goals and progress
- Develop individualized treatment plans, providing ongoing support and adjusting interventions as needed
- Track and report progress, contributing to IEP meetings and communicating regularly with teachers and parents or guardians
- Maintain necessary records in compliance with school and district requirements
