Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianAtlas Molded Products is seeking a 1st or 2nd shift maintenance technician for the Fond du Lac, WI facility. Join our team with flexible scheduling and starting pay of $28–$40/hour, based on experience and qualifications.Responsibilities include:General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental proceduresPerform preventative maintenance (PM) on all machinery.Properly document maintenance performed so that accurate records can be kept.Install logo plates and inserts as neededFollow tooling best practices:Label defective materials for rebuild, store in proper locationStorage and safe handling of toolsHelp to identify leaks in tooling and repair as neededEnsure that all new and existing equipment or machinery is operating properly.Perform light construction tasks, such as building repairs, painting, general upkeeping as neededTroubleshoot equipment issues to identify root cause.Recognize and adhere to all best practices for safety (i.e., lock out/tag out, etc.)Maintain a clean and organized work areaServe as an advanced technical resource in a given maintenance specialty (i.e. fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, controllers, etc.)Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems at various voltages (120V, 277V, 240V, 480V)Monitor and maintain outside building maintenance as needed (shoveling, salting, etc.)Perform any other functions and responsibilities as assignedExperience:Must be able to operate forklift within the safety guidelines established by AMPExperience with maintenance/mechanical systems preferred.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Will be trained to become familiar with general safety.Will be trained to become familiar with general Quality System/Workmanship standards.Must be fluent in the English language, both written and spokenMust be able to use simple math and use basic handheld measuring toolsAdditional Information:Moderate to heavy physical effort required including sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, climbing steps or ladders, grasping, fine and course manipulation, reaching both forward and above head level, and tolerant of temperature changes for the entire shiftMust be able to push, pull and/or lift up to 100 pounds; and safely operate assigned machinery.Atlas Roofing Corporation offers a competitive compensation and vacation/holiday package as well as a comprehensive benefits program including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life/AD&D/LTD insurance, 401k and Medical & Dependent Care Spending Accounts.Atlas Roofing Corporation is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.No calls or agencies please.
