Senior Accountant

Hourly: $35 – $40 Job Title: Senior Accountant Job #: 5889 Location: Albany, NY Category: Accounting Position Type: Full-time, Contract Role Description Responsibilities Conduct monthly AR and AP reconciliations. Close out AP and AR periods monthly. Conduct General Ledger reconciliations. Reconcile Intercompany accounts. Review AP batches to ensure accuracy. Assist with payroll processing. Maintain routine schedules to obtain primary financial data for use in accounting records. Prepare accurate and timely fiscal management reports, including, but not limited to, internal and monthly external financial statements. Qualifications A bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred. 2+ years of experience in accounting. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Effective time-management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. High level of accuracy and efficiency. Ethical behavior when dealing with sensitive financial information.
