Make a real difference each day supporting students in a high-needs focus classroom as a contract paraprofessional near Eden Prairie, MN. Qualifications and Skills:

• At least two years of college credits from an accredited institution, an associate degree or higher, or a passing score on an approved academic assessment (such as ParaPro, ParaPathways, or The Master Teacher).
• Alternatively, demonstrate competencies from the MDE approved competency grid.
• PCA certificate required (or willingness to obtain one; the process is free and takes under an hour).
• Minimum of one year’s professional experience working with school-aged children.
• Preferred: Over two years of school-based paraprofessional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide essential classroom support for students with a range of needs, promoting their academic and social success.
• Assist licensed teachers with instructional activities, classroom management, and individualized learning plans.
• Guide and supervise students during instructional and non-instructional times.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt classroom materials and strategies for student accessibility.
• Support students with personal care and behavioral needs as required.
• Use clear communication to engage with students, families, and team members.
