About this Position

Join the Spears School of Business team and play a vital role in creating an exceptional environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors! 

This dynamic position supports daily facilities operations, supervises student employees, manages space and inventory needs, and coordinates work orders and facility requests. This position is a key point of contact for Support Services which assists with classroom technology and basic computer support to ensure seamless campus operations.

In this multifaceted role, you will:

• Coordinate facility and equipment setups for meetings, conferences, and special events
• Monitor building usage
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Assist with routine maintenance and upkeep.
• Provide backup support for duplication services, including copying exams, syllabi, and other academic materials.

Must be able to lift 30 pounds.  

Required Qualifications

• High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)

• Four years related experience 

Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's

• 5 to 7 years related work experience preferred

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

• Technical knowledge of computer and audiovisual (AV) equipment, including proficiency in basic troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the ability to use spreadsheets for tracking, organizing, and managing information.
• Proficient in the operation of color and black-and-white copiers.
• Basic facility maintenance and minor repair skills are preferred. 
• Ability to work independently and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with close attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Service-oriented attitude.
• Able to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
