Key Responsibilities of the IR RN

• Perform angioplasty, chemoembolization, and gastrostomy tube placement
• Administer procedural sedation and monitor patient responses
• Conduct infection prevention and manage dysrhythmias
• Provide care in gastrointestinal and genitourinary procedures
• Execute a range of vascular studies and interventions

Requirements of the IR RN

• 1+ years of recent interventional radiology experience
• Active NY license (no pending)
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications
• Experience with Allscripts charting system preferred
